I decided I needed to get the hell out of Dodge for a little while, so I booked a trip back to the UK. I know that some people might think I am stuck in a rut always going to the UK, but I miss my friends there, and Andy, my former housemate. I haven’t been back for a few years, and when I heard that Andy’s oldest had just turned 13, I knew that I wanted to get over there sooner rather than later.
With the Olympics taking place in the UK this summer, I figured I wouldn’t be able to travel for a good chunk of time, so I thought that there’s no time like the present… meaning I leave in two weeks. For part of the time, I will be in London, and then I will make my way down to Wales.
I am hoping to meet up with some blogging buddies in both places, including Man of Mode, House of Beauty & Culture, Rose C’est La Vie, Yonks, and others.
I hope to get a chance to go back to the place where I worked in Wales, the stunning St. Donat’s Castle.
I lost all of my hundreds of images of that place when my computer was stolen soon after I moved back to the States. 
It’s private, but I think I can probably get permission to spend a little time there.
I am gathering lists of places I want to visit and people I want to meet, but would love your suggestions to add to the mix.
I am not sure where I am staying in London, as we’re still working out the Wales dates, so I haven’ booked a place.
